I try to be creative in some way every day. This can be as complex as working on a mosaic or as simple as building a Lego house, a sand castle or a smiley face made from dots! The end result doesn't really matter, what's important is that the creative spirit continues to be nurtured. That said, being prepared for when creativity strikes is absolutely necessary. I achieve this by keeping a small notebook and pencil in my purse and when we travel I make sure that creativity is on my packing checklist. It's not uncommon for me to have my creative stuff packed well before my clothes. Could this be why we rarely get out the door on time???
